Design judgment shaped by art, engineering, and making.
Based in Denver and working nationally, Sites & Space works directly with property owners, developers, and hospitality operators to define a project's design direction and carry it into tangible work. The practice combines creative direction, art-making, industrial design, engineering judgment, turnkey FF&E, visualization, graphics, digital twins, and managed fabrication in one owner-side relationship.

How We Think
Start with ownership's goals
Design should begin with what the business, operator, property, and audience need—not with a discipline's preferred deliverable. Sites & Space turns those goals into a program and concept that ownership can evaluate and approve.
Make complex ideas legible
Drawings, renderings, models, prototypes, specifications, and material studies are decision tools. We use the right combination to make options understandable before they become commitments.
Connect creative and technical work
A strong idea has to survive sourcing, documentation, fabrication, installation, and use. The studio's background in art, industrial design, engineering, and fabrication allows the creative direction to remain coherent as it becomes physical.
Who We Work With
Sites & Space works primarily with property owners, developers, and hospitality operators who need a clear design direction and the specialized capabilities to carry it forward. We also work with product companies developing physical products, fixtures, equipment, and related visual systems.

Pat Ryan
Pat Ryan is an artist, industrial designer, electrical engineer, creative director, and founder of Sites & Space. His practice combines visual experimentation, technical problem-solving, product development, fabrication knowledge, and direct work with ownership stakeholders.
His path through fine art, heavy-equipment mechanics, engineering, architectural fabrication, software, hospitality, and adaptive reuse gives the studio an unusually broad view of how an idea becomes a physical and digital experience.
