Develop the product and the environment together.
Sites & Space applies industrial-design thinking to products, furniture, fixtures, equipment, controls, and custom elements. We connect use, appearance, material, fabrication, and context so a product works as part of a larger experience rather than as an isolated object.
A connected product-development process
We define users, requirements, context, and constraints; develop ideas through drawing, modeling, and experimentation; compare options through visualization and prototypes; and create the CAD and production information needed to move forward.
Fabrication knowledge without a captive shop
Sites & Space was built on hands-on fabrication experience. Today, we use that knowledge to define custom work, select appropriate outside fabrication partners, coordinate design information, review prototypes and submittals, and maintain the creative direction without operating as the primary fabrication shop.

Common questions
What kinds of products does Sites & Space develop?
The practice works across furniture, fixtures, equipment, controls, custom interior elements, and other physical products where use, appearance, engineering judgment, and fabrication need to be resolved together.
Does Sites & Space fabricate products in-house?
Sites & Space now manages qualified outside fabricators. We define the work, coordinate production information, review prototypes and submittals, and maintain the approved design intent through delivery.
